UniCredit Leasing awarded as Lessor of the year
On the 10th of December, Leasing Life Magazine granted its annual awards. UniCredit Leasing won in two significant categories: European Lessor of the Year and Functional Leader of the Year. The company gained also recognition in category SME Champion of the Year coming as first runner-up.
The European Lessor of the Year was awarded to UniCredit Leasing for its overall business activity. It is the most important and prestigious award for the entire leasing industry in Europe. The company received recognition due to its comprehensive performance during the past twelve months.

We won acknowledgment from our direct competitors and from the whole European asset finance market - not only in terms of business volumes, but also for being an innovative and effectively managed company. The General Manager of UniCredit Leasing, Mr. Luca Lorenzi was honoured with the title of Functional Leader of the Year. The panel of selected judges, made up of leasing experts, vendors and industry consultants, appreciated his “key man” position in UniCredit Leasing. He is responsible for the commercial and operative coordination of the entire UniCredit Leasing network, in charge of effectively coordinating activities in 17 different countries. Mr. Lorenzi was especially valued for leading a strategic change in the company, by implementing the new approach “from patchwork to network”.

Given the fact that he has been present in the leasing business for almost 25 years, we can leverage on his experience, wide knowledge and feeling for the market” – stated Mr. Moi.
