Shortened length of financing returns „leasing in the game“

UniCredit Leasing offers now its clients, thanks to the amendment of the Act on Income Tax, shortened financing of the movable assets. The Amendment of the Act offers to the entrepreneurs the advantage of faster depreciations of the assets and for all clients, including private persons, it offers also shorter length of financing. Financial leasing comes back to the game as the debt instrument.

Amendment of the Act on the Income Tax reacts to the situation in the Czech economy in the time of the economy crisis. In its substance it brings the acceleration of the tax depreciations of the tangible assets of the 1st and 2nd depreciation group (and thus from 3 years, or from 5 years to 1 year, or 2 years), and also shortened financial lease of the assets. „The shortened depreciations can be applied to the new assets submitted by June 30, 2010. The current five-years scheme of depreciations is still allowed and the client has the possibility of the choice,“ says Mr. Jiří Vintr, manager of product management of UniCredit Leasing. „Faster depreciations mean for the client not neglectable tax advantage“, adds Mr. Jiří Vintr.

So UniCredit Leasing offers now to all the clients also financial leasing for new subjects of financing and thus in the lengths of 24, 36 and 48 months. By June 30, 2010 it will be possible to conclude contracts for financial leasing for shorter period of time, than until now. –The leasing financing can be closer, thanks to the modified conditions, to the situation on the market at the end of the year 2008, when it clearly prevailed.

„UniCredit Leasing always tries to accommodate the clients and to bring new things on the market. So it is only logical that these changes are reflected in our offer of the financial products,“ comments Mr. Jiří Vintr.
