UniCredit Leasing financed significant properties in the total value of more than CZK 1 billion in 2008
In 2008 UniCredit Leasing financed significant commercial and industrial properties, concluding contracts worth more than CZK 1 billion in total. Property financing is part of the companys universal and comprehensive offer for businesses.
Property financing in 2008 involved a range of important projects that significantly enhances UniCredit Leasings portfolio of business transactions, says Petr Fier, director of the Real Estate Division at UniCredit Leasing. Last year we concluded contracts on business-property financing worth more than CZK 1 billion, Petr Fier adds.
Significant properties financed by UniCredit Leasing include, for example:
- A production, warehousing and administrative complex in Prague for the company Prask vodovody a kanalizace, a.s. (VEOLIA group) in the total value of CZK 532 million. This transaction was realized in two phases, from which the amount of CZK 312 million was recorded in 2008. Contracts for the first two buildings in the value of CZK 221 million were signed in 2007.
- Another business transaction comprised administrative and warehousing complexes in Prague and Brno for THE CHARNWOOD COMPANY s.r.o. in the total value of EUR 19.75 million, where the main lessee is the company OSPAP, the biggest paper wholesaler in the Czech Republic.
- A special project for the company OLPRAN spol. s r.o. involved construction of a production-administrative facility in Podkrkono in the value of CZK 160 million. The facility is part of one of the most modern assembly plants for bicycles in Central Europe. Continued cooperation involved renovation of commercial spaces in the well-known Prague shopping center belonging to the company EUROPARK SHOPPING CENTER s.r.o. in the value of CZK 100 million. Construction of the entire center was financed by UniCredit Leasing in the value of more than EUR 84 million.
- Another significant structure financed by UniCredit Leasing in an attractive location within the Prague Airport complex was a production-storage facility for the food company GASTRO-HROCH, s.r.o., whose total cost reached CZK 170 million.
- A further interesting project involved financing of a manufacturing complex in Jindichv Hradec for the company TPS Park JH s.r.o., part of the SAG group, a producer and supplier of metal roofs, gutters and facades. The total value of the project was CZK 45 million.
