UniCredit Leasing’s versatility is now a plus
In the first half of 2008 UniCredit Leasing achieved results in line with the market trends. The drop in leasing services copies the dynamics of the whole market, while loan financing grows significantly, more than the whole market. Thanks to its universal offering, UniCredit Leasing holds a good position on the market.

Having grown by 65% year on year, business loans were the fastest growing UniCredit Leasing product in the first half of this year. This growth is almost 50% greater than the rate of growth of the whole market for this increasingly popular financing product, which serves business needs. The volume of consumer credit provided has also grown significantly, by 54% year on year. This is almost double the growth of the whole consumer credit market.
Lease financing of movables basically copies the development of the whole market. In comparison with the other big competitors, no appreciable drop compared with the trend has occurred. On the contrary, thanks to the versatility of the offering, the financing of movables is supplemented by real property leasing, which recorded a surge of 100% year on year. “In 2005, focusing on the universal nature of the company was a step taken in the right direction.
