CAC LEASING Turns Into UniCredit Leasing
* CAC LEASING’s integration into the quickly developing European financial group of companies, UniCredit Group, will be completed on 5 November. * The European leasing holding UniCredit Global Leasing placed as the 2006 European Number One in respect of the volume of its new deals in the amount of EUR 13.2 bln.
Starting on Monday 5 November 2007, the largest universal lease-purchase company CAC LEASING will acquire a new name - UniCredit Leasing. This step will complete the integration of the company into the European financial group of companies, UniCredit Group, to which CAC LEASING has already belonged for more than two years. Ever since 1991, CAC LEASING has concluded more than 300,000 contracts on financing with an overall value in excess of 170 billion crowns (according to the acquisition price of the objects of the financing).
“In the nine months of this year, CAC LEASING has achieved some record-high results by reporting a year-on-year increase of 11.2 percent in new deals involving moveable assets, in acquisition prices”, says Mr Jaroslav Jaromìøský, Executive Director of UniCredit Leasing.
CAC LEASING is the tenth company within the UniCredit Leasing to change its name, and thus to make it visual that it belongs to the strong and quickly developing European financial group. For the company itself, the change of its name only represents a visual change, e.g., in its promotional materials or the identification of its branches. “Under the business name of UniCredit Leasing, the company will retain the universal nature of its products on offer. Thanks to its affiliation with the European group, it will add a cross-border dimension to its financing options”, adds Mr Jiøí Matula, CEO of UniCredit Leasing.
The announcement of the change of name was distributed to the clients, suppliers, and other business partners as early as during the month of October. Starting in November, the company will inform the general public about the change of its name in advertisements carried in the national and professional press. “We use mainly dailies and weeklies for communication via advertising of the new brand name. Furthermore, we shall also apply the Internet and television as the other communication channels by the end of the year”, said Ms Erika Duchanová, Marketing and Communication Manager. She adds: “In the first half of 2008, we shall disclose the information in the professional periodicals, particularly with help of advertorials or a combination of advertisements and articles.” The campaign and its creative solution were designed for UniCredit Leasing by the advertising agency Fabrika.
