INFORMATION MEMO
OF THE BANKING REGISTER OF CLIENT INFORMATIN AND THE NON-BANKING REGISTER OF CLIENT INFORMATIN (FOR CLIENTS OF CREDITOR ENTITIES)
Dear clients,
Non-banking creditor entities (namely leasing companies and companies providing consumer loans), which are part of the Non-banking register of client information in the Czech Republic (hereinafter the “NRKI”), are interested – for the purpose of reducing risk and enhancing the quality of offered products – in acquiring data on financial standing, credibility, and payment history of the clients, as well as from the Banking register of client information in the Czech Republic (hereinafter the “BRKI”), which represents a common database of data formed on the basis of information mutually exchanged by banks on contractual relations between banks and their clients.
With regard to the above mentioned, the non-banking creditor entities are currently ready for the possibility of mutual exchange of information (data) on financial standing, credibility, and payment history of their clients among the non-banking creditor entities taking part of the NRKI project (hereinafter the “creditor entities”), and banks, which are taking part in the BRKI project (hereinafter the “banks“).
The basic presumption for the realization of the above mentioned mutual exchange of information (data) between creditor entities and banks is an existence of clients of creditor entities and banks with such exchange of information (data) (more detailed information on the method and presumptions of the mutual exchange of information (data) can be found in the section The process of processing and exchange of information).
The objective of this document is to provide you – clients of creditor entities – with the basic information on the mutual exchange of information (data) among the creditor entities and banks, as well as on NRKI and BRKI.
