How can I properly terminate a contract (leasing and/or credit)?

What is the procedure in case of an early termination of a leasing contract?
- First of all, it is necessary to request the early termination of a leasing contract in writing. The application, which may either be mailed to the address of UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s., OSALM, Radlická 14/3201, 150 00 Prague 5, or faxed to 257 322 175, or even emailed to , must contain the contract number and the decisive date for the contract termination.
- Within 5 days from an acceptance of the request, you will receive an informative letter with the specification of a purchase price and an advance list.
- In case of a confirmation of your interest in an early termination of the contract, you will settle the purchase price prescribed within the advance list. After the purchase price is credited to an account of the lessor, we will issue a tax document (invoice) for you and prepare a contract of purchase. UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s. also sends a power of attorney for a change in the registration of the relevant register as well as registration papers.
- The accident as well as mandatory insurance coverage, which were arranged by the lessee as collective, and the premium of which was included in the leasing installments, shall expire as of the day of signature of the above mentioned contract of purchase.
- A fee for an early termination of a contract shall be charged in compliance with the General terms and conditions.
- An early termination of a contract is not possible in case the last leasing installment is due and payable.
- The early termination of a contract, on the basis of which the lessee is a business entity, may result in the change of a tax mode of the leasing contract in terms of the Law on income taxes. It is therefore suitable to consult this step with a tax advisor.

Where can I request the confirmation of a claim-free insurance policy history after a termination of the contract?
The confirmation of a claim-free history shall be issued by an insurance company, where the subject of the leasing was insured throughout the term of the contract.
Is it possible to sublease the subject of the leasing?
Yes, however, upon a prior consent to the sublease issued by the relevant branch of UniCredit Leasing CZ, a. s., where the leasing contract had been concluded.
May I assign the leasing contract to a new lessee?
Yes. The current lessee shall submit to the relevant branch of UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s. the written “Application for an approval of assignment of rights and obligations to a new lessee”, stating the decisive data of the rights and obligations assignment. At the same time, he shall submit the identification data of the future lessee, including his financial results for the last year.
Upon an approval, a trilateral “Agreement on an assignment of rights and obligations” shall be executed. The execution of this agreement shall be subject to a fulfillment of all outstanding liabilities.
Is it possible to request a postponement of the leasing installments payment?
Yes; however, in exceptional cases only. You should apply in writing for the consent to a postponement of leasing installments payment either at the address of UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s., by fax: 257 322 175, or by an email to , whereas your application must contain a proper justification. The applications are evaluated on individual basis, considering the previous payment history of the relevant client. It is not possible to apply for a postponement of installments, which are already due and payable. There is not entitlement to the granting of the consent.
How does UniCredit Leasing aid its clients in case of a complaint concerning the subject of the leasing?
The basic procedure in the course of a complaint concerning a subject of the leasing is stated directly in the General terms and conditions – a client is authorized to file a complaint with the seller on our behalf, even without our knowledge. In case a client informs us in writing about a complaint under way, we will issue a special power of attorney for a resolution of the complaint.
In case a client does not resolve the complaint with the seller and asks UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s. for help, we will arrange a meeting between a client and a seller (with our participation), and we look for possible solutions together. We always try to find a solution beneficial to all involved parties.
